Re: [php-139] Does Anyone Speak ArgoUML Out There?

Are you looking for something that hooks into your IDE? Or that has the ability to engineer/reverse engineer code from the diagrams?

I haven't found anything free that will do that with PHP. I have used both Visio and Dia (a GNU drawing app that works on multiple OSes) and I think Dia can give Visio a run for its money in the UML category. I was very frustrated with Visio's interpretation of UML and how it should be handled.

Hi,

I need to do some UML 2.0 work, and unfortunately do not have access to Rational Rose (IBM) or Visio.

ArgoUML (http://argouml.tigris.org) is supposed to be an alternative. Has anyone worked with this and can give me some insight? Or, is there another freeware that can be as good or even better. Pluggins to Wamp will be a heaven-sent icing on the cake!
ArgoUML is written in Java, and in 2004 it was good and it was supposed to develop PHP-specific APIs, etc. later on.

Thanks in advance!
