Join us for a discussion about the symfony framework with Dustin Whittle of Yahoo!. There will be a high level overview of the symfony framework with a demonstration on how to get a project started followed by Q&A.

The format is informal, so you are encouraged to bring your laptops and code your first symfony project.

The in-depth discussions and Q&A will be sure to fill your mind with all you'd need to know to get your new web application started with symfony.

When you arrive, please look for the PHP Meetup sign pointing you to the conference room. Look forward to seeing you there!

It was a great session. I really liked the presentation and the level of details. It was useful and interesting especially for people who still search for the right tools and try to pick up the best frameworks and software for their needs.

Excited to meet the group. I will be there to represent Playlist.com which is a social music site (profitable & growing), and we love PHP and MySQL. Big time.

The leading framework for PHP, at the moment, is probably Symfony, and no one knows it's in's and out's like Dustin.
